I'm absolutely obsessed with Henrik Vibskov's designs, but it is really difficult to get hold of his clothes in Tallinn. From more mainstream labels I like Cheap Monday or I just buy something from trift shops or flea markets, like, I think I got these trousers and the jacket from Balti Jaam. I'm the most influenced by music and crazy rock bands and singers, especially Mötley Crüe and The Horrors. I play guitar myself as well. The most stylish person I know is my friend Anastasia.

I remember I was like 6 or 7 when I designed my first clothes. I'm still not sure where the ideas come from; I just feel the need for something and it is usually much easier to make something than hope that I will come across it. My style is usually is quite feminine. Dresses really flatter my body shape, so I have always had my wardrobe full of dresses. Although, at the moment I'm trying to find nice acid wash jeans.

I just want to feel comfortable and not depend on clothes: clothes shouldn't dictate what I can/can't do or where I can/can't go. So I think my style is quite neutral and I love simple basic pieces, for example, I can never have too many simple tank tops. I really like the local street style, because when you go to other places, for example Sweden, where I spend a lot of time, you can see that people are trying so hard to be different, but actually look the same. Street style here is so eclectic.

I'm currently into 1920's fashion. My outfits are all about ties, waistcoats, nice sweaters...I prefer chic and smart clothes that would still have something unusual about them: maybe the shape, maybe that they are oversized or something like that. It also matters how your outfit is styled. I think the main problem with Estonian street style is that Estonia is so tiny. If there are, say, a hundred very stylish people per one million, then there are, unfortunately, a lot less potential stylistas in Tallinn than in places like London or New York.

I'm wearing my favourite colours today and this spring I love dresses. I don't think I'm trying to express something with my style, but it is very important for me to wear second-hand or vintage clothes and not buy so much new stuff. It is much better for the environment and your wallet as well. This jacket and dress are both second-hand and I got these boots from England and were second-hand too.

I’m drawn to pieces that others necessarily do not like or find bizarre. Even with this watch – my friends keep saying it is men’s watch, but I love it. My clothes have to have something unusual about it. This spring I’m also into light and bleached denim and fringes. I’m not a big designer-junkie, but I love browsing magazines like Dazed & Confused and i-D to see what is going on in the fashion industry.

I invest in clothes that I know I’m going to wear. It can be something by a new upcoming designer or something vintage – doesn’t really matter. However, I’m not too keen on shops like H&M, because everything there is disposable. At the moment I’m obsessed with Gaspard Yurkievich and I’m trying to find a leather jacket with a good fit and boots. Today most of my clothes are vintage, but this shirt is by some young designer and I absolutely love it because of the collar.
